A WildLife Tradition Taxidermy With Nickie
Family is a huge thing here at A Wildlife Tradition Taxidermy so here are some common faces that make this facility possible. Top left, Breanna (mini taxidermist in training, taxidermist of the red fox, single mink on a creek, and the button buck her very first deer) and Ariel (who constantly cleans my windows and tries to sweep) my little helpers (neices). Top middle, my Dad who without I would not have anything running in my shop... he is awesome... top right my mom who puts up with me taking her towels to wrap fish in, and use her washing machine to spin out hides as long as I clean it out again. Welcome I am Nickie Burgess the proud owner of A WildLife Tradition Taxidermy where we are "Bringing that moment back to life" everyday... Growing up I was always in the woods with my dad or cousin hunting, fishing, or camping. After I graduated high school I was looking for something to do with my life, so when the opportunity arose I went to a taxidermy school in North West Iowa where I studied with 8 other students from across the US under the guidance of three amazing teachers with multiple credits to their names. There I learned a bit of everything. Complete with a diploma I arrived back home where I opened shop in 2011, this year marks 10 years doing taxidermy!! I am licensed both state and federally. I have attended the North Carolina state competitions since 2012. Please explore our site and I hope to do business with you in the future!!
